MT COOK Alpine Lodge
Many thanks for your enquiry. Our rooms available are as follows:
Double or Twin ensuite room has king bed or two singles,tv/dvd and superb mountain views including Mount Cook is $159 per night downstairs or $179 per night upstairs. Upstairs views are superior.
Family room ( can accommodate 4 people in one king or twin bed(s) and one bunk set in the same room ) with ensuite,tv,dvd, fabulous views including Mt Cook is $200-$220 per night. We have two of these rooms and both are upstairs with superb views. These rooms are ideal for Mum Dad and two kids but can take a 3rd child on a rollaway at a squeeze.
All rates include a discount voucher for meals at the Hermitage Hotel, $10pp for dinner and $5 pp for breakfast.The Hermitage Hotel is 2 minutes walk from here.
Our new lodge is 4 years old ( opened September 2005) and has 16 rooms, all with ensuites.The building has been finished to a very high standard, utilising lots of native timber and large windows to enjoy the scenery. All of our front facing rooms have incredible views and extremely comfortable king size beds.
Our lounge area is the best place in Mount Cook to put your feet up and enjoy the mountains and glaciers. The views from this room are unbeatable and it has a cosy fire and lots of comfy couches to relax in along with a large deck on which to enjoy the sun.
All rooms are serviced daily at a time convenient to you. We pride ourselves on providing an extremely clean place to stay. All linen is supplied along with fresh towels daily if required.
The lodge has a fully equipped self catering kitchen and dining area, communal lounge with sun deck, guest internet,guest laundry,small grocery outlet with reasonably priced breakfast foods, basic dinner items, postcards etc. We provide free baggage storage.
