You should use Rials to pay for almost everything (hotel, few Travel agencies accept Dollars & Euros
wn you want to buy your domestic airline tickets (you can ask them). I know that the Exchange bureau
which is close to my home (客房) in TEHRAN accepts RMB as well. so you don't need to have Just Dollar/euro with you you can have Yuan. Maybe in some cities you have more difficulty exchanging RMB against Rial but in Tehran it's NOT difficult.
If you want me to check other exchange bureau's in Tehran, send me an email and i'll contact them to ask RMB against Rial rate.
