Airport Surcharge
The Airport Surcharge applies to all Rentals collected from any of our Airport Locations and some of our premium city locations. All goods and services purchased or supplied from these locations incur an additional charge. The Airport Surcharge is applied to the total Daily Fee for Australian and New Zealand rentals.

What is an airport surcharge?
These are charges added to the car rental for picking up a vehicle at the airport. As well as covering the rental of an in-terminal desk, it covers use of shuttle buses etc.
The exceptions to this rule are Australia and New Zealand. In these countries there is an airport fee and a recovery fee to pay when picking up your vehicle at the airport. This is paid directly to the supplier and is not refundable.
These fees can vary from between 11% - 25% of the total cost of the car hire.
