Are you holding HKSAR passport? If so, I highly recommend you that you must not go to Turkey by train or bus. Instead, you should take flight. In fact, I tried to cross the border from Bulgaria to Turkey. The immigration officer couldn't distinguish between HKSAR passport and Chinese passport. They wouldn't allow the HKSAR passport holders to go.
Buchurest is a rubbish city and most travellers feel disappointed visiting there. Of course, I share the same thought. It is better to visit Bulgaria. Sofia and Varna are highly recommended.
