Where is your starting point? If it's Birmingham, I suggest that first you can stay in Birmingham for 3 days, then your second stop is Oxford for 1 day, the third stop is London for 7 days, you can have a great London tour for 5 days, 1 day for Bath, 1 day for Cambridge. You also can go to windsor Castle, Eton College and Greenwich observatory near London.
